My Road by Jim Wishman Just follow your feet They won’t let you down Feel the lift in your heart When they touch the ground With each step of your way Take things in your stride
These are the heydays
Senses amplified
‘Cause I follow in the footsteps of the man in my dreams So, I’ll follow this road, on which I’m travelling Through the outback and beside the sea I’ll follow this road, wherever it may take me This is my road And the people you will meet Some will let you down Life is bitter-sweet As some will astound So, I follow in the footsteps of the man in my dreams So, I’ll follow this road, on which I’m travelling Through the outback and beside the sea I’ll follow this road, wherever it may take me
This is my road Backstreets and dirt tracks Seen mansions and beach shacks Drove them all to live my dreams Maybe I’m just chasing moonbeams? So I’ll follow this road, on which I’m travelling
Through the outback and beside the sea
